ok guys how do u wire a newer 305 with all the electronic stuff on it i have never done this before if u guys could email me a diagram or just explain in great detail how to do it i know it cant be really hard but since i havnt ever messsed with this stuff i just would want to make sure i am doing it right

Big wire out of dist is pos for switch small pole on starter is pos for button. done

is it original wires still? all you need is already there.cut all wires at fire wall and separate, two large red wires are always power, pink wire is dist feed, purple wire is starter reference, they are plenty long enough when pulled out of harness to feed inside and hook switches to.done.

by the way, cut everything else out, you dont need it-as long as it is got a carb and not injected, not many did in 87 if at all.
