I don't know about you guys but I know what its like to roll over in a big derby 100 cars and had to sit upside down for 15 minutes till they could stop everybody so I could get out ...so the battery box behind my seat stopped battery acid from running down the back of my neck . all I used was a plastic storage container with a clip closed lid that i bought from large hardware chain store it holds two batteries so I can run 24 volt it has a angle iron frame base with all thread going through the base so I can clamp the batteries in, around the top edge it has a foam type sealing strip ( that was also purchased from the hardware store ) the top is held into place with the clips on all sides but you could also use a spare tire tie down strap bolted to the container. this is more a safety item than a tip as battery acid can do some damage.
