FORD FUEL TANK TIPS & TRICKS | ||

I have found with some fords the fuel tank bolts through the rear floor so when the rear starts to fold it falls down and acts like a plough slowing the car and making it work harder than it needs to, I usually go around the underside lip and tap it into the tank ,then weld it by stitch welding on the lower lip and also on top, 3 stitch welds per side and the tank wont come out, this also holds the rear a bit tighter ,this is more a better tip for your smaller class derbies there as we cant run vehicles with full chassis here.
